Nancy Lou (Boykin) Haynes

FREMONT – Nancy Lou Boykin Haynes, age 76, passed away on Friday, May 9, 2025. Born in Wilson, on June 30, 1948, she was the daughter of late G. Rothan Boykin and Daisy Lee Driver Boykin.  She was also preceded in death by her brothers, JR Boykin and Billy Boykin.

Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, J.V. Haynes, III; and her brother, Teddy Joe Boykin of Wilson.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2024, starting at 2:00 PM at Shingleton Funeral Home, 2413 Nash Street NW, Wilson, NC 27894, with Pastor Allen Stanley officiating. Burial will follow the service at Evergreen Cemetery. A visitation with the family will be from 1 PM until 1:45PM prior to the service in the chapel of Shingleton Funeral Home.
