Nancy Louise (Hancock) Henry

BAILEY – Nancy Louise Hancock Henry, age 84, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. Born in Wilson, NC, on April 9, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Roddie Nelson Hancock and Stella Mae Neal Watson. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, William Joseph Henry, Jr.; and her sister, Susie Ivey.

Nancy is survived by her sisters, Theresa Pilkington (Linwood), Lucy Earp (Steve), and Candy Wilder (Randy); her brothers, Roddie Hancock (Cullen Gurganus), Charles Hancock (Debbie), Thomas Watson, and Stevie Ivey; her daughter Stacie Lynn Bullock (Tony); her son, William “Billy” Joseph Henry III (Angela); and her grandchildren, Tony, Michael, and Malory.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, starting at 7:00 PM at Shingleton Funeral Home, 2413 Nash Street NW, Wilson, NC 27894, with Pastor Stanley Gaskins officiating. A visitation with the family will be held from 6:00PM until 6:45 PM.

Burial will be held Thursday, May 28, 2026, starting at 11:00 AM at Maplewood Cemetery, 400 College Street, NE, Wilson, NC.
