Patricia Hathaway Kennedy

                        Wilson….Patricia Hathaway Kennedy, age 81, of Winston, Georgia, formerly of Wilson passed away on August 17, 2020

                        She was born to the late Johnnie Gregory Hathaway and the late Magdalene Roberson Hathaway on June 14, 1939 in Nash County, North Carolina. She was the oldest of three children and was raised in Wilson.

                        Mrs. Kennedy worked as a certified nursing assistant for ten years at Britthaven Nursing Home. She was a homemaker and enjoyed raising her children and caring for her family.

                        Mrs. Kennedy is preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie Gregory Hathaway and Magdalene Roberson Hathaway; husband, Clinton B. Kennedy; daughter, Jackie Ann Sipe; and a brother, Jimmy Ray Hathaway.

                        She is survived by her son; Jimmie Sipe and his wife, Dianne of Florida; daughter, Teresa Ann Rhodes and husband, Vance of Georgia; step-daughter, Ann Kennedy of North Carolina; granddaughter, Ashland Rhodes of Georgia; grandson, Wayne Rhodes of Georgia; brother, Charlie Thomas “CT” Hathaway of North Carolina; nieces, Susan Cruse and husband, Travis, and Lisa Johnson and her husband, Stephen both of North Carolina; and great niece, Alyssa Johnson of North Carolina.

                        Funeral services will be conducted Friday, August 21, 2020 at 6:00 P.M. in the chapel of Shingleton Funeral Home with the Rev. Daniel Blackburn officiating. The visitation will immediately follow the service. Interment will be Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Bailey Town Cemetery.
