                         Wilson….Patsy Barfield Braswell, age 81, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2022.

                         Visitation will be held Sunday, April 10, 2022 from 6:00 p.m.

until 8:00 p.m. at Shingleton Funeral Home.

                         Funeral services will be held Monday, April 11, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Daniels Chapel Church with the Rev. Josh Preskitt and the Rev. Walt Tyndall officiating. Interment will follow in Black Creek cemetery.

                         She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Edwin Braswell; son, Edwin Keith Braswell; grandson, Stephen Glenn Braswell; sister, Connie Lucas; brother, Ray Barfield.

                         She is survived by her daughters, Janie Galloway (Jeff) of Black Creek, Susan Pugh (Ronald) of Wilson; son, Glenn Braswell (Cathy) of Wilson;  brother-in-law, Donnie Lucas of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Alex Galloway, Holly Burgoon (Jacob), Tracey Pugh, Allen Pugh, Kimberly Pugh, Chase Joyner, and Garrett Joyner; great-grandchildren, Madalyn Pugh, Makenzie Pugh, and Sarah Joyner; special friends, Sandra Bryant and Alexis Ellis.

                         Shingleton Funeral Home is Honored to be serving the Braswell family.

                         In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 205 Regency Executive Park Dr. Suite 102 Charlotte, NC 28217.
