Phillip Leon Beamon

                         Wilson….Phillip Leon Beamon, age 72, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2025. Phillip was born in Wilson, NC to Lloyd L. and Hortense Webb Beamon.

                         Phillip was a contractor who built many homes in the Rocky Mount area during his career. He loved to go deer hunting and was an avid Nascar enthusiast. Some of his other hobbies included repairing guns and lawn mowers in his spare time, but most of all he loved his most loyal companion Skipper.

                         Phillip was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Judy B. Cooper; brother, Edward “Wayne” Beamon; nephew, Mark Scott.

                         He leaves to cherish his memory; sister, Joyce B. Roberts of Wilson; special nephew, Brian Williams; several nieces and several great nieces and nephews; special cousin, Randolph Poole; special friend, Vickie Whitley.

                         A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 3:00PM at the home of his sister, Joyce Roberts.
