Raymond Donald Walston March 3, 1934 March 15, 2020 Stantonsburg........Raymond "Donnie" Walston., age 86, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2020. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. at Shingleton Funeral Home with the Rev. Carroll Bradberry officiating. Interment will be Thursday, March 19, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Stantonsburg Cemetery. He is survived by the love of his life, Dorothy R. Walston of the home; step-daughter, Kathy Thigpen and her late husband Larry; step- sons, Ricky Whitley(Joanie), Wayne Whitley(Teresa), Lynn Whitley; sister, Becky Wallace(Dwight) of Elm City; nieces, Kristy Barnhill(Kevin), Renee Mullen, Gina Bridgers(Chad); nephews, Keith Wallace, Brian Tomlinson; six step- grandchildren; ten step- great-grandchildren, and many great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Rufus and Annie Owens Walston; his first wife, Annie Mozingo Walston; sister, Linda Tomlinson.
