Ruby Jones September 20, 1918 January 20, 2015 LucamaRuby Jones, age 96, beloved mother and grandmother, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 20, 2015. She passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Robert and Nannie Nancy Tomlinson Lamm; sons, Joseph Ray, Andy Earl and William Robert Jones; sister, Virginia Driver and brother, Clarence Lamm. Funeral services will be conducted at Tabernacle Baptist Church on Friday, January 23, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Joe Shakour officiating. Interment will follow in the Tomlinson Family Cemetery. She is survived by her daughters, Joyce Atnip (Jim) of Black Creek, Nancy Jones of Lucama, Virginia Rodgers of Lucama, Brenda Wheeler (Davis) of Elm City, Polly Worley (Danny) of Wilson, Janice Pate (Jackie) of Wilson; son, Randy Jones (Lorraine) of Elm City; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
