Sandra Louise (Glover) Head

                                 Goldsboro….Sandra Louise Glover Head of Goldsboro, NC passed away unexpectedly at her home on the evening of Wednesday June 18, 2025. She was born in Bailey, NC on December 07, 1966 to the late Julian and Fanny Ruth Howell Glover. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her uncles, John, Randolph, Sam, Wayne, Bobby, and Tommy; special aunt, Louise, and aunt Janet, and Evelyn; her fur baby Valentine; mother-in-law, Betty Head; niece, Keri Aldridge.

                                 She was a graduate of Southern Nash Senior High School, Class of 1985, as well as a graduate of Wayne Community College, Class of 2014, where she received her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. As an early childhood educator, she dedicated her life and career to providing love, education, guidance, and structure to thousands of children throughout her 30 years of teaching. Sandra never let anything get her down; she pushed through every obstacle with perseverance and a smile on her face. Sitting in her porch swing or on a beach with her feet in the sand were her two favorite places to be. She was proud to be a Glover from Bailey, NC. Sandra loved her heritage and her family, who she was and where she was from, and more than anything in the world, she loved her Daddy.

                                 Sandra is survived by her husband, Ronnie Head; aunts, Vivian Glover, Betty Anderson, and Janet Flood; brother, Robert Glover of Texas;  sister-in-law’s, Annette Head Aldridge (Steve), Cathy Head Prosser and Laura Glover Carter; brother-in-law, Tony Head; nieces, Maria and Brooke Glover, Michele Head Wiggins (David), Stephanie Benton (Paul); nephew, Taylor Glover and Anthony Head (Jennifer), Ben Smith (Kristyn), Donnie Sugg (Kellie), Stephen Aldridge (Lisa); great-nieces, Myha and Jayla McFarland; cousins, Kim Harrell and her son Patrick, Beth Schnitker, John and Amy Howell and their children, Steve (Caroline), Sam Glover, Jr., Barbara Glover Finch, Carl Glover, Beverly Glover Turner, Jenny Glover Breedlove, Delton Glover, Debbie Glover Shea, Sidney Etheridge, Nancy Anderson Williams, Bill Anderson, Ellen Anderson Brandt, Peggy Williams Skinner, Allen Williams, Crystal Flood, and many more extended friends and family.

                                 A visitation will be held Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. at Shingleton Funeral Home, 2413 Nash Street NW, Wilson, NC 27896 with the service beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Sam Glover, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at the Bailey Town Cemetery, 11499 S. Highway 581, Bailey, NC 27807.
