WILSON –Timothy “Tim” Lee May, age 72, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. Born in Wilson, NC, on November 13, 1952, he was the son of late Dan May, Jr. and Nola Mae King May. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Edward May and Johnny May..
Tim is survived by his sons, Eric May (Amber Hinnant) of Wilson and Danny May of Aurora; his sister Brenda Shea of Wilson; his brothers Jerry May of Wilson and Eddie May of Bailey; his grandchildren, Savannah Owens, McKenzie May, Jaycen May, and Cheyenne May; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Monday, January 13, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Shingleton Funeral Home, 2413 Nash Street NW, Wilson, NC 27894. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, January 13, 2025 starting at 3:00 PM at Black Creek Cemetery, 5547 Woodbridge Road, Wilson, NC 27893, with Daniel May officiating.
Family will be receiving family and friends after the service at 5548 Central Road, Wilson, NC 27893.
