Bailey….Verlon Travis Wells, age 85, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2024.

He was preceded in death by his parents, J.D. and Mae Wells; wife, Bit Wells.

He is survived by his sons, George Wells of Bailey and Doug Wells of Wilson; brothers, Danny Wells of Wilson and Donnie Wells of Rocky Mount; grandchildren, Travis Wells, Christin Wells, Matthew Wells, Cassie Wells, Ashley Alegood, Anna Bunn; three great-grandchildren.
