                        Elizabeth City….William Edgar Peele, age 85, passed away Tuesday, February 06, 2024.

                         He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Nollie and Nellie Mae Holland Peele; wife, Peggy Ann Bunn Peele.

                         He is survived by his daughter, Loyale Wells (Ricky) of Elizabeth City; sons, Joseph Peele of Elizabeth City, William M. Peele of Charlotte; sister, Barbara Boykin of Zebulon; brother, Carlie Lee Peele (Janice) of Elm City; grandchildren, Morris Beasley (Shelly) of Barboursville, VA, Bonnie Williams (Bryan) of Elizabeth City, Christopher Peele (Nacy) of Elizabeth City, Peggy Ann Wells (Nate) of Midland, MI, Robert Bushley of Elizabeth City; great-grandchildren; Haylee Beasley and Taylor Beasley both of Barboursville, VA, Mikayla Gruener, Ashlynn Beasley, Jaydin Williams and Sierra Peele all of Elizabeth City.

                         A visitation will be held Saturday, February 10, 2024 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Shingleton Funeral Home.

                         A Funeral service will be held Sunday, February 11, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Shingleton Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Holland officiating. Interment will follow at Bailey Town Cemetery.
