William Edward Sutton

 Wilson….William Edward Sutton, age 82, passed away Saturday, November 25, 2023.

                        In his younger days he enjoyed fishing and playing cards with his friends.

                         He was preceded in death by his first wife, Doris Sutton; parents, Mildred and William Sutton; brothers, Mickey, Bruce, and Kenny Ray Sutton.

                         He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Margie Sutton of the home; daughter, Dawn Jones (Morris) of Elm City; son, Bobby Sutton of Elm City;  brother, Charles Sutton (Becky) of Wilson; step-daughter, Angie Kinsler (Mark) of Pikeville; step-son, Joey Williams (Dolores) of Kenly grandchildren, Brook Jones, Heather Jones, M.J. Jones, and Will Sutton; great-grandchildren, Trey Jones, Ashlyn Jones, Jordan Jones, and Kymari Jones; special friend, Eli Williams and lots of other friends who cherished him.

                         A memorial service will be held Friday, December 1, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Shingleton Funeral Home. A visitation will follow.
